::DEV is tentatively back on it’s feet and shaking off the drowsiness from the anasthetic. Hopefully, all should be well again so signups have been re-enabled.

Service update: reversed or jumbled posts

If the first thing you thought when you opened your blog a few days ago was “Help! My posts are all out of order!” I feel your pain. Ours are too!

A little digging around shows that this was caused by a recent upgrade to the database, and a change in the way that the queries are handled. In short, we need to upgrade ::DEV. This will take place over the next two days, so expect unscheduled downtime; I’ll try to make it as quick and painless as possible. Backups have been made, so we recommend that you make no further blogposts until this is resolved. If Bad Things Happen and we need to restore from those backups (we hope this won’t happen!), any new posts from hereon will be lost. So, just in case, it’s simpler not to post. I’ll let you know when we’re done.
We’ll try to solve this as quickly as possible, many thanks for your patience.

You wanted themes, you got themes. They’ve been a long time coming, I know; finding great themes for Wordpress is easy, but finding and configuring the theme to work in a multi-user way isn’t. That’s all done now though, and I hope you like the results.

I’ve picked out the best of the best from 83 beautiful wordpress themes you probably haven’t seen, converted theme over, and put them up here for your blogging pleasure.

To change your theme, login then go to the Presentation page of the site admin screen. You’ll see thumbnails of all the available themes. Click one, and it’s yours.
